It's tough to beat this trip for pure, top-notch golf and it's only 2 1/2 to 3 hours from both Detroit and Chicago. If you want night life to go with your golf, stay at the Hampton Inn North, just a couple of miles north of downtown. If you want to get away from it all, but still be pampered, try the new Inn at St. Ives. Either way these four golf courses will be the main memories you take from this trip. There are so many wonderful courses in Michigan, but it's going to be hard to not come back to this group next year!
