ADVANCE RESERVATIONS - TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. The payment for a reservation of any package constitutes the customer's acceptance of these Terms and General Conditions. Authorization to use a credit card for deposit and/or final payment also indicates the customer’s consent to our Terms and General Conditions, whether or not he/she has actually signed the appropriate credit voucher or sales draft. Verbal authorization of use of a credit card confirms a reservation. The customer shall be defined as any traveler on a golf package.

DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS
A deposit of $100 per person is required to confirm your package reservations. Reservations received first will have priority when securing golf course starting times. A reservation will automatically be released if the deposit is not received within 10 days of making telephone, online, fax or written reservations. The balance of the entire package is due no later than 14 days prior to day of arrival. If balance of payment is not made at this time, reservations may be cancelled and all deposits held. Group will be responsible for any other penalties or fees due golf/lodging facilities.

PAYMENT METHOD
Payments may be made by check, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Cashier's Check or Money Order. All payments must be made in U.S. funds. Make checks payable to Golfing in Michigan.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Once a deposit is received, there will be a $25 per person charge for cancellation of a package. Cancellations requested within 14 days of arrival will incur a loss of their deposit. Tee time/lodging cancellations made with less than 7 days notice will forfeit 50% of the package cost. No refund of any amount will be given for a cancellation of less than 48 hours notice. Cancellations must be received in writing after initial notification by phone. No refunds will be issued for unused portions of a package once any part is used. If package prices have been misprinted or misquoted, you will be offered the package at the correct price or you may cancel with a full refund.

RAIN REFUNDS
Should a golf course close due to inclement weather, please call toll-free, 1-888-635-4653 from the course and have the course professional or manager verify the rain-out for an adjusted refund from GIM. If the course has a rain check only policy, we honor their policy only. Also, have a course scorecard signed by the course professional or manager verifying the rainout and return it to GIM, along with a copy of your final confirmation within 30 days after the scheduled play date. Lodging nights are not refundable because of rain.

SUBSTITUTION OF SERVICES
Golfing in Michigan (GIM) reserves the right to cancel or modify any part of a package in its sole and absolute discretion for any reason whatsoever with or without prior notice to the customer. If comparable services or accommodations cannot be supplied due to causes beyond our control, Golfing in Michigan will own no liability or responsibility. In the event complete cancellation is required by GIM, our only liability will be to refund all moneys paid.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Golfing in Michigan books lodging and golf reservations and issues all vouchers/confirmations in the capacity of an agent for the customer only upon the express condition that GIM, its employees, officers, directors, or any individual representatives shall not be held liable for any claims, losses, personal injury, damages, costs, expenses, delays or loss of enjoyment of any nature or which may be occasioned by acts, omissions or negligence of the persons or companies rendering any of the services.
GIM does not accept responsibility for losses or additional expense due to changes or delays in travel or other services, sickness, labor disputes, weather, or other causes. GIM shall not be liable for any such claim for loss, damage, or injury arising. GIM cannot guarantee weather conditions nor can GIM be responsible for any shut down, in whole or in part of the operation of a facility (golf course, hotel or other supplier), whether they are caused by weather or any other reason.

FURTHER TERMS, CONDITIONS, COURSE/RESORT RULES:
· Package cost covers only items expressly stated in confirmation/itinerary, i.e. stated golf, lodging, taxes and food where applicable. Guests are responsible for their own incidentals and may be asked for credit card imprint or other form of payment guarantee to cover such incidentals, at check-in.
· Guests agree to abide by course/resort/lodging rules and general expectations for dress, procedures and behavior. Group guests agree to begin functions at scheduled times, as well as vacate designated function areas at the times indicated, maintaining high standards for decorum and courtesy for those around them.
· All food and beverage consumed on the golf courses, in general gathering areas at resorts or in resort private banquet/meeting facilities must be supplied by that particular course or resort. No coolers allowed on golf courses. Guests agree to reimburse the course/resort/lodging facility on its master bill at checkout for the fair value of any damages or losses caused by group guests to course/resort/lodging property, or to a third party and its property, if individual does not take responsibility.
· A $50 cleaning fee will be assessed to any non-smoking unit in which smoking occurs.
· One change to trip itinerary after reservations have been confirmed is gratis. Thereafter, every change incurs a $25 service fee. Changes to itinerary or additions to group are not guaranteed and a based solely on availability. For partial cancellations see Cancellations and Refunds on previous page.

CONDITIONS OF ACCEPTANCE:
Each of the parties agrees that there are not other oral, written or other representative promises or agreements other than those expressly set forth herein. This agreement is not assignable. In the event that the group is a corporation, partnership, association, club or society, I, the undersigned represent to Golfing in Michigan that I have full authority to sign such an agreement or, if I am not so authorized, I agree to be personally liable for the faithful performance of the agreement and payment in full for all amounts due.

Please confirm your group reservation by signing and returning this contract to Golfing in Michigan within 10 days, accompanied by the deposit amount specified. You may also access your trip online and make your payments there or call in your deposit on a credit card.
